Chutian Orchid Ecological Garden
Chutian Orchid Ecological Garden created in early 2006, belongs to Guoce investment company. The garden is located in Ecological Garden,Wuhan City,Hubei,PRC,covers an area of more than 30 mu(a Chinese ancient unit).And it built a modern water-control thermostat orchid garden. Chutian Orchid Ecological Garden is also a wild orchids fostering scientific research bases and it has strong support by Provincial forestry sector and flowers Bonsai Association.
Chutian Orchid Ecological Garden independent invests more than 15 million yuan, all of this money is mainly for introducing, collecting and cultivating the endangered indigenous species of wild Chinese Orchid (Cymbidium goeringii and Faber Cymbidum), especially Faber Cymbidum. At present, more than 300 new and old orchid varieties have been collected, which including over 200 species Faber Cymbidum, and over 100 species Cymbidium goeringii.
At the moment, in garden the most typical representation of the rare varieties of orchids are Fuguimudan; Datangxiongshi; Faber Cymbidum traditional variety Laoduoyun; Zijingxiangyun and Chutianzhenmei.
Chutian Orchid Ecological Garden have a lot of famous Faber Cymbidum collections, such as Laojipin,Jiangnan Xinjipin, Zhengxiaohe, Dayipin, Laoranzi,Dangzi,Duanhuimei,Old Shanghai Mei, Liumei, Sanyoumei, Cuimei, Chenmei,Guangding,Yuanzi,Shiyuan, Changshoumei, Xinhuamei, LVfengqiao, Qinghuamei, Saiduoyun, Lvmei, Longfengdie, Xianhejipin, Xinpinshuixian, Xinpinhuanghua, Yuandongqilin, Xianlv, Jin'aosu, Jiangshansu, Cuidinghesu, Ruyisu,Wenzhousu and many other unnamed new flowers of Faber Cymbidum.
The garden also have a great deal of famous Cymbidium goeringii collections, there are Zhizu Sumei, Yuhudie, Sixidie, Dafugui, Duanxiuhe, Xizimei, Huanqiuheding, Jiyuan,Songmei, Wanzi, Duanmei, Xishenmei, Heshenmei, Nianqimei, Longzi, Wangzi, Ynagsisuhe, Cuiyipin, Yipin, Tianximei, Honglongzi, Jintaiyang, Tianpengmudan, Hongxindie, Duodoudie, Huruidie and other over 30 species unnamed new flowers of Cymbidium goeringii. In addition, the garden have a little of famous Lianban Lan, Chunjian Lan, Siji Lan collections, such as Jianyangdie,Daxuesu, Xianxuesu,and so on.
In 18th session of Wenzhou Orchid Exposition, the garden collections Faber Cymbidum new flower named Zijingxiangyun won a gold medal and Cymbidium goeringii new flower named Chuwangruidie won a bronze medal.
